UK investigation

United Kingdom (UK) law enforcement authorities have been provided with the results of our investigation into the pillage of gold from the Democratic Republic of Congo by three British entities: London-based Hussar Services Limited, its director Neil Jonathan Graff, and its Jersey Channel Islands affiliate, Hussar Limited.

The trail began with extensive investigations by the United Nations Group of Experts on the Democratic Republic of the Congo (UNGE), which looked at UN sanctions violations by Hussar Services Limited, Neil Jonathan Graff, and Hussar Limited.

Following her tenure with the UNGE, Kathi Lynn Austin continued the investigation into the criminal liability of Hussar Services Limited, Neil Jonathan Graff, and Hussar Limited for the war crime of pillage.

The results of these investigations have been shared with UK law enforcement authorities.
